In simple terms, a strong and flexible pipe is laid within a floor structure in a series of continuous loops.  These are then connected to a manifold sited above ground and heated water from a boiler or heat source is circulated through the pipe, warming the floor and turning it into a low temperature radiator.
Underfloor heating is particularly suited to renewable energy heat sources, such as heat pumps. Where required, our systems can be designed to incorporate a thermal store.

BS1264 guidelines are observed when preparing an underfloor heating design.
It is important to note that an underfloor heating system is designed to heat the room space not the floor.

Scotfloor take great care to source products from leading manufacturers such as Watts, Grundfoss, Reliance and Danfoss.  Products are selected on the grounds of quality and value, and are amalgamated to create a reliable and affordable underfloor heating system.
